Wow that's a great entry, when I was moving into my traincase yesterday there was so much makeup that was beyond expired that I tossed out.... lordie... thanks for posting that up hun!

Hi Yumkeo-Chan! Thanks for the comment!
I definitely don't keep up with those guidelines haha... I really should tho, but I can't get myself to throw out those expensive eyeshadow palettes >_<
As for teaching in Korea. As long as you've been part of the education system for at least 10 years in Canada and you have a BA then you're good to go. But I read on the translated Korean paper that some people are complaining that there are many unqualified teachers in Seoul. The Seoul Education office was very desperate to have at least 1 English teacher in the schools so I guess they hired as many interested applicants as possible. I'm not sure if they will be changing their standards this year, but it's still worth a try.
I only have my BA, so I get the minimum pay. However, if you get your TESOL certificate (which can be done online) or have a BA in education, then you will get more pay.
You can visit the website where I got hired http://www.eastgateteach.com/
I do have to warn you that you can have either a great experience or a very shitty one. I got the shitty part of the deal where my requested couple apartment (with my bf) was screwed up and my school is horrible to me and many other things. But there are also some teachers that I know who are having a great time, their school loves them etc etc.
I know the Seoul Education office (Seoul Metropolitan Office Of Education - SMOE) hires for September and for March, the beginning of each semester so I'm sure you can still apply right now for September.
The site I gave you is based in Oakville and the people were very helpful.
The rent and airfare is all paid for which is great.
Well I hope it helps =D If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask me =)
Happy New Year
